Tiny Desk AI Guide

A practical guide to the Tiny Desk AI band generator, the one-to-five-photo role system and the fixed vertical performance.

A full band from one photo

Tiny Desk AI is a short, vertical performance format with five fixed roles and a warm office-studio setting. The lead singer holds the middle close-up, the saxophone closes the clip, the keyboard anchors the opening shot and two harmony singers complete the frame.

This generator lets you cast as much of that band as you want. The lead singer is required. The other four positions are optional. If you leave them empty, AI supporting musicians fill the band so the result never looks like an incomplete stage.

The one-to-five-photo workflow

Start with a clear photo of the lead singer. Add a saxophone, keyboard, left harmony or right harmony photo only when you want a specific person in that role.

Each image maps to one person and one role. Do not reuse the same portrait across multiple positions. Only upload people who have agreed to appear.

A fixed three-shot edit

The template uses three shots. The first shows the keyboard and two harmony singers. The second moves to a smiling lead singer close-up. The third shows the saxophone solo.

The vertical 9:16 frame, instruments, microphone positions, timing and soundtrack stay fixed. You do not need to write a video prompt or edit the cuts yourself.

Facts before you generate

The output is about 15 seconds. You can choose 480P, 720P or 1080P. Credits are shown before submission, failed technical tasks return unused credits and the samples are free to watch.

The service is independent and is not affiliated with NPR, Tiny Desk Concerts, Charlie Wilson or any artist mentioned in trend coverage.
